Process of Tool Box Customization In SOLIDWORKS

Step1: In the windows search, type Toolbox settings.

Step 2: Toolbox Settings window will appear on the screen

Step: 3 Select the Customize your hardware then it has shown case you all the available standards.

Step 4: Right Click on the Tool Box Standards and select New folder where you can rename the folder. (in this case, we have renamed the New folder to LML)

Step5: Right click on the LML folder to create a subfolder in LML folder and rename those folders name as per your requirement (in this case I Have rename to nuts, screws, Keyways & etc.,)

Step:6 Now select the component in which you want to customize the toolbox.

Step7: Right-click on selected component, select copy and go the respective folder and past it. In this case from ANSI Inch, Nuts, I have selected Acorn High crown nut and copied to LML nuts folder. Likewise, I have created subfolders.

Step 8: Save the toolbox.

Step 9: Open SOLIDWORKS, in SOLIDWORKS Tool Box you can find the customized folder you have done.

Step 10: Now your toolbox is ready to use.
