Introduction:
Quad Digital Receiver is an Antenna which is used for Defense Applications. This hardware module measures the pulse parameters of RADAR in real time. This module is particularly suited for radar systems, where the signals must be sampled at a high rate and very high purity programmable signal generation.
Challenges:
Simulating the thermal flow analysis for QDR LRU assembly for a constrained volume and optimistic weight with proper effective conduction and forced convection to maintain the temperatures below 71℃ was a challenging task.
Scope of Work:
Design the QDR LRU for thermal loads with optimistic fin design and selection of fan.
Case: Forced Convection thermal analysis of QDR LRU for lab conditions with ambient pressure and temperature of 1 Bar and 55℃ with two exhaust fans are considered for the Electronic box.
Engineering Solution:
Max Solid temperature is 69.72℃.
